Got Mirena Inserted
Good Morning Doc,
I had the Mirena inserted yesterday. A bid painful but nothing too serious.
This morning I spotted a bit and I used a tampon. When I got to work, I phoned the doc's receptionist and she said I must rather not use tampons for the first month so that the Mirena can settle. I have no problem with this but does this also mean no sex for the next month? Or is it save to have sex in the first month after inserting the Mirena?
I know these are questions that I had to ask my gynae yesterday, but I just felt so embarrassed to ask him.
Thank you,
