Gynae and Pregrancy Advice
I'm 11 weeks pregnant and have been to my gynae twice. Both visits were very quick which left me feeling concerned. Unforuntaley, my gynae has not weighted me, asked me about my diet, advised me on what I should be eating, drinking etc. All the info I have is from magazines etc. Do you think I should rather go to another gynae. I mentioned that I suffer from constipation. I mentioned that I drink Black Forest Tea, which he has said is fine but the insert from the pack clearly states that it should not be taken by a pregnant women. Please advise.

A regular balanced diet is all that is necessary in pregnancy. You don't need any special form of diet. I certainly would not change your gynaecologist because he didn't tell you what to eat.
Try to eat lots of bran and fibre. This will help your constipation. Black Forest tea is probably quite safe in pregnancy but, like a lot of herbal medications, its safety is not known because it has not been tested.

Best wishes
