how effective is depo provera?Please respond urgently.

I've been on depo provera for 6 months and have unprotected sex now but how effective is this injection? and I haven't had my period since 10 December, i did a preg test and it was negative and i read in one of the answers n the forum that a lady's test was negative when she was 4 months preg so i'M REALLY WORRIED

The injection is > 99% effective. The majority of women on depo provera do not have periods. This is an effect of the Depo.
