how long is your cycle when on the pill? Anybody on Yasmin?
HI,
I'm 24. I have just started taking Yasmin. My question is how long will my cycle be? I usually have a cycle of between 30-36 days (although I have had 28 day cycles and more than 36). Will the pill ensure a 28 day cycle? On the box it says that you will start your period on day 2 or 3 of the inactive pills. Doesn't this mean that I will have about a 23-25 day cycle?
Then I would also like to know if there is anybody that knows anything about Yasmin. This is my first time on a contraceptive and I've heard terrible stories about headaches and breakthrough bleeding... Is there anyone on Yasmin that can tell me how they have experienced it? Thanks.

Your cycle should be 28 days on Yasmin. Your initial cycle on starting may be a bit shorter.
Best wishes
