How soon can I tell if I'm pregnant?
Hi there,
I had a missed miscarriage in October (foetus was app. 8 weeks and 2 days) and then fell pregnant again in November. I had an early miscarriage just before Christmas, probably because I was on the pill and was taking gym supplements (Phedracut and CLA). Both pregnancies were unplanned; the latter baffled us as we didn't know how it could have happened whilst on the pill ! I am not taking it now. I started bleeding on about 19 December (it lasted roughly 10 days) and haven't bled since. My cycle was previously irregular and I came on probably every 5 to 6 weeks. I had unprotected sex last week (6 days ago) and now I am experiencing symptoms such as tender breasts, the urge to urinate and bouts of aggression - similar to that experienced in both pregnancies. How soon does one experience symptoms of pregnancy ? And what are the chances of my being so ? So far, falling pregnant has been unbelievably quick and easy!

You should not experience pregnancy symptoms before missing a period. You should not really expect your next period before 19th January. Your symptoms could be due to hormones adjusting after the miscarriage. Urinary frequqncy may indicate a bladder infection.
