I am 24 and Biological clock out of 'whack'
Hi,

I went to a gyno about my very irregular periods and a constant brownish discharge, and he did an ultrasound and said there is some scarring inside that is causing the discharge. He then went to say that my biological clock is out of whack and needs to be reset, is this possible I am only 24 does it not happen to older women? If not is the pill (ovral28) the best treatment? I could not take the side effects so i stopped before the 3 months prescribed period. I gained too weight much in 2 months during which i did get my periods but i got depressed and I stopped it. After which i had breakthrought bleeding until I got my 3rd period for only 2 days. Any comments on this? Are there other methods to treat my problem? I dont see myself going back on the pill.

Any comment would be appreciated.
Thanks.

I am not sure what your problem is. The terms used by your doctor are vague. If you have PCOS, the Pill is the best treatment, but you need to know if this is the diagnosis.

Best wishes
