IVF & Gender Selection
We are planning to have IVF and want to know if we could choose the sex of our baby and how it is possible? The IVF procedure is expensive, but would selecting the male and female sperm make the procedure even more expensive?
With IVF, selection of gender is possible. However, there are ethical issues involved. If everyone suddenly decided to have boys, for example, this would upset the sex balance in the world. Sex selection is not usually done unless for medeical reasons.Best wishes
