IVF TWINS - STERIOD INJECTIONS FOR THEIR LUNGS
My one friend also had ivf twins and she was given steriod injections at about thirty weeks to develop their lungs - they were eventualy delivered only at thirty six weeks. My gynae does not seem to keen on these injections -
How common are these injections for twins - does it depend on the doctor - this stage I seem to be over all my problems with my pregnancy - had a bladder infection, runny tummy - at least my blood pressure looks very good.
I am almost twenty nine weeks preggies with twin boys. They now weigh between 1.1 and 1.2 kilos. (I went for my 3D on Thursday) is this an average size for them?

It is not usually routine to give steroid injections. It depends on your doctor's assessment of how high the risk of preterm labour is.
