Jaundice in pregnancy
A friend who recently found out that she is 6 weeks pregnant has been diagnosed with jaundice. What is the dangers to the fetus having jaundice in such an early pregnancy and how contagious is it? Thank you.
There are many different causes of jaundice, including hepatitis, drug-related, liver failure, etc. The effect of the fetus depends on the cause.
