Local Aneasthetic & 10 weeks preggies
Dear Gynae Doc,
I have booked at a Dermatologist an appointment to have three quite prominent moles removed from my stomach area next week. I will be 10 weeks pregnant then.
They will be administering local aneasthetic to the areas where they will cut out the moles and then put in some stitches.
Is it safe to have this kind of procedure at this early stage of pregnancy?

I would appreciate your urgent answer - so if not safe I can still cancel my appointment.

Thank you so much.

The procedure is safe.
