Menstruating
Hi Doc,

Can you please help? Is there anything that I can buy from a pharmacy to stop my monthly menstual cicles. I went on the injection for two years and I didn't have any menstual cycles, but I left the injection, cause I've picked up +- 20kg. The reason why I want to stop menstruating, I honestly battle from pain, it is so bad, that I want to die of the cramps and I can't afford to see a gynea, haven't got a medical aid. Is there anything else than I can use to stop this.

Thank you,

The only thing that will stop periods are hormonal preparations of one sort or another. These would be the injection or Provera tablets ( but these have the same constituents as the injection and would make you gain weight as well). The Pill may be a solution to the painful periods.

Best wishes
