Menstruation after breastfeeding and pregnancy.
Hi doc
My baby is six months old, and i stopped breastfeeding at four months. Reason being my milk dries up naturally as it did with my first born, who is now turning five in January. I would like to know, how long after stopping breastfeeding, does your period appear again. My husband and I have had protected sex two months now and I am scared of being pregnant again. Please give me some info on this issue. Very important, I would really not be able to accept this.

It should appear within two months of stopping breastfeeding. If you are having protected sex, you should be protected from pregnancy, though condoms are not as effective as other methods of contraception.
