Miscarriage
Hi

I have been told by my Doc that after the D & C, I am not to try to conceive for at least 6 months as my womb will need to heal. Is this true or thereafter will it be safe to go ahead and try. I'd rather be sure as I don't want to go through another miscarriage.

Thanks a mill.

You should not fall pregnant for at least 3 months in order to improve the chances of a successful outcome. There are some studies that suggest that women who fall pregnant within 6 months of a miscarriage have a higher chance of another miscarriage.
Best wishes
