Miscarried- Is D&C necessary???<br>
I found out last week and Wednesday that I was pregnant but starting heavy bledding the day after that. I immedialtely went to my gynae to find out I'm busy having a miscarriaged. I was 4 weeks pregnant. She said it is not necessary do go for a D&C has it was very early in the pregnancy. I just want to know if it is save not to have the D&C? I'm just worried that there might be infection later on.

It is not always necessary to have a D&C. You should have a check-up in two weeks time though to check that everything has returned to normal.
