Need advise Girls - Bellydancing while pregnant!
Hi Girls & Doc,
Please I need advise (this is not for me though :-( ) I teach Bellydancing and would like know how safe it is to continue with it while pregnant.? I'v got a lady that just started Bellydancing and found out that she is pregnant. She's fit and go to gym everyday. For some of you that don't know Bellydancing is not like an aerobic workout, we do a 10 min warmup in class with a bit of strecthing and then go over to dancing working the hips and bums and of cause the "Belly". She's got a apointment with her gynea later in March and then she will just confirm with him if everytingh will be in order as she would love to continue. The class is only 45 min. once a week. What do all the preggie girls think is it safe and doc what do you think?
Thankyou
Kind Regards
Marilize

I can't see why your friend cannot carry on with the belly dancing.
