Ongedifferensieerde sarkoom
Ek is pas gediagnoseer met ongedifferensieerde sarkoom in my sagte weefsel van my vrouedele. Ek het 4 jaar gelede 'n histerektomie gehad. My ma is ook aan dieselfde sarkoom oorlede binne 'n maand nadat sy gediagnoseer is.
Ek moet nou begin met Radioterapie.
Is dit 'n familiële toestand en wat is die prognose, en watter inligting kan u aan my gee om myself so gesond as moontlik te hou.

I am not aware that this is a heriditary condition, but your radiotherapist may be able to give you more information. The prognosis would depend on the extent of the sarcoma, the size, whether there is any invasion of other organs. Once again, the doctor treating you would be able to give you more accurate information.
In terms of keeping healthy, a good balanced diet would be important and you might benefit from a vitamin supplemment.
