Ovarian Cysts and Discharges affecting a womans libido
My partner has had constant problems over the years with regards to recoccurring Ovarian cysts. Herfillopian tubes had been damaged a long time ago during a emergency op and we cannot have children naturally. We have tried INVITRO twice but to no avail. She now has cysts again and there is a discharge which she is being treated for but her doc. says her libido is zero. Is it better for her to have her ovaries removed and will this prevent further cysts? Her one ovary is very small and the other is normal.

I am not sure whether she has polycystic ovarian syndrome or just recurrnet cysts. If she is still young, it would be a bad idea to remove her ovaries as she would then be menopausal. It is possible that hormone changes can affect libido, but most of the time this is psychological. I would imagine that the stress of IVF could affect her libido.

Best wishes
