Panic attacks.
Hi,
I would like to know if a woman in her menopause can have panic attacks. I have had a few, mostly during the night. It comes on very quickly, shortness of breath, fast heartbeats, feeling as if I want to faint. Sometimes I have to lay down (on the floor) untill it passes, feeling cold and sweaty.
I can usually controll it by counting forward and backward while breathing evenly and deeply.
Thanks.

It is possible that this is hormonal, but it may not be.
Best wishes
