Period every three months!
Ever since I started my periods, it has been irregular.
I am now 24 years old and still have this problem.
I get my periods once in three months and it lasts for about two to two and a half weeks....
I had a pap smear for the first time this year and everything was normal.

I am not taking any contraception currently.
I don't want to start a family just yet but need to know if its a good idea to go on the pill to regulate my cycle.
When i am ready to start a family , will i have a problem conceiving?

It sounds like you are not ovulating. PCOS is one reason for this . See a gynaecologist to check.
