I went off the pill last month and should have had my period 2 days ago. I have heard from friends that periods are very irregular after one has gone off the pill especially after having been on it for many years. A friend of mine did not get her period for 8 months after. My husband nd I do plan on becoming pregnant this year but am quite sure that I am not pregnant now as I was careful during my ovulation period. I have no symptons of being pregnant . When do I take a pregnancy test???If I am pregant, I am concerned as I have taken painkillers, anti inflammatories and have had alchohol, all the things you should stop when you are pregnant - Do I need to worry about this if the test is positive.

The first thing to do before you start worrying is to do a pregnancy test. You could test today or tomorrow.

Best wishes
