pls help ... ovarian cysts and metformin
hi there,
pls help me ladies,i went to the gynae on monday and she did a scan on me and discovered that my ovaries have doubled in size with cysts.i am not getting my periods and stopped taking the pill in feb. my husband and i want to have a baby asap.
the gynae put me on metformin for three mths saying that i should come back in sep for another check up.

if anyone knows about metformin and how it will help me and how quickly i am dying to know.will it make my ovaries stop swelling and be normal?

will i get my periods again? and will i fall pregnant..i am so desperate!

You probably have PCOS. Have a look through the archives. There is a lot of information there, including on metformin.
