Possible cause of extremely painful ovulation
Hi
Does anyone maybe know what can be the cause of very painful ovulation. I started ovulating late yesterday afternoon. By 23:30 last night I could not take it anymore. I took 3 different painkillers and eventualy my husband made me a hot water bottel which realy helped alot, but I was at the verge of going to hospital. I went pale, felt nauseous and just wanted to pass out.
The pain always on occurs from the right ovary.
This is realy a worry to me, as this is the time I need to conceive, but with this much pain, the last thing on my mind is having sex. Will it still be okay to try tonight as I am still ovulating today. I am starting to wonder if this is why I am not conceiving as it is impossilbe to have sex on my strongest ovulation day.
I am seeing my gynae on Wednesday, but was just wondering what could cause this much pain.
Thanx
Z

If this happens every month at the same time, it is most likely ovulation pain, but other possibilities would be a cyst or endometriosis. See what your gynaecologist says.
