Pregnancy and High blood
I have just been diagnosed with hypertension. I am 40yrs old and after unsuccessful artificial insemination (last yr September) and courses of fertility drugs , I decided to go on the pill for 3mths in order to regulate my period. This is supposedly the last mth of the pill, but since being diagnosed last week with high blood (I am now on medication), I am a bit scared to plan. Is my fear unfounded or can it add to my infertility. Thanx for your responses.

The hypertension will not add to the infertility but would make a pregnancy riskier. It may be that the hypertension is related to the Pill, so you should stop this and see what happens.
