pregnant
Hi I am 6 months pregnant and I have developped warts when I was 3 months. When I go and see the doctor the doctor said that it is a usually thing on pregnant women. I am afraid that maybe I have an infectition which can cause HIV. These genital warts have been treated for their development but now the doctor have given me pills to use. I am still waiting for the results.
I have tested for HIV and I was negetive.
Please help me I am so worried.

If you have superadded infection, this should be treated with antibiotics and cleaning of the area. At this stage of pregnancy, there is nothing you can do to get rid of them. All you can do is to keep the area clean with regular washing and disinfection. If you are HIV negative now, then the only way you would become positive is if you had unprotected sex with someone who is HIV positive.
