Pregnant? or Not?

hi there, my wife had an opp. about 2mnths ago. she had an ovary removed which had a dermoid cyst. she also had a D&C done. Her 1st day of her last period was on the 23rd Nov 04. she never had her period for december and we now in Jan. :-) Could she be pregnant? there is no signs, yet. According to discovery's pregnancy calculater, she should be Estimated Fetal Age: 6 weeks, 2 days. should there be signs or is it too early. going to see gynae on monday. all responces will be appreciated. thanks W

It is common for there to be some disruption of the cycle after a D&C or removal of a cyst, so this may be the reason for missing a period. The only way to know whether this is due to a pregnancy is to do a pregnancy test. Women differ in whether or not they have any symptoms and when these start, so they are not a reliable indicator of pregnancy.
