Preventing a miscarriage again
I've heard of the possibility of the cervix being stiched to prevent a miscarriage at what point is this done and what are the benefits and is it possible to request it from the doctor if you know you are prone to miscary in the second trimester.

A cervical stitch is only inserted if you have cervical incompetence. This should be checked for in your next pregnancy. There are risks to having a stitch inserted, so it should not be done without good reasons. It is done any time from 13 to 24 weeks.
