Problems urinating while pregnant

Hi there, I'm 14 weeks pregnant and for the last week when I wake up in the morning my tummy is so bloated that I just can't urinate and only once all the flatuance has passed can I urinate. During the day though I can feel that the control of my bladder is lost and I can't just urinate if I want to which is rather strange as it also has a burning sensation. Please can you tell me if this is normal as maybe my uterus is pushing on it or if I should see the gynae sooner than my check-up in 2 weeks?

You are right that your uterus may be pushing on the bladder and interfering with urination. I would suggest that you contact your doctor for an earlier appointment.
