Question about mirena
Hi. A few friends have recommended mirena to me. I have really bad PMS with both injectable and oral contraceptives as well as migraines while taking the inactive pills. I'm 37 and don't want kids, I had an abortion 3 years ago which was devastating, but I've also heard that mirena is only for "moms". Any ideas out there? (PS - one of the best sites at health24...)

The dose of hormone in the Mirena is very small, so your chances of getting PMS should be less than with the injectable or Pill. If you have never had children, it may be slightly more difficult to insert, but can be done.
