RE: 7 weeks preg, had a miscarriage Friday

I posted a note last week, about no heart beat. My concern later was about the options the doc gave to terminate the pregnancy, i waited a day before deciding.. but i didn't have to make a decision, baby did it (later that night i miscarried at home, after period like cramps). The hospital did a womb scrape a few hours later. I was fine to go home 4 hours after that.
I feel absolutely fine, no pain, etc just experiencing a bit of spotting..

I have two questions:
Q1: The doctor never gave me a follow up appointment. Should I call for one, even tho I feel fine. Also should the spotting bother me?

Q2: And my mum-in-law says i mustn't do alot during this first time, as the womb can move, I must keep warm, etc.. Should I take it easy and rest whole day, as I feel as well as before. I have started work again (computer programmer). My colleaques say i must stay at home for a while longer... but i can work ..

What advice can you give me?

Thank you

The spotting is normal. You should probably have a 6 week follow up visit. The usual time off work is 3-4 days. Thereafter you can go back to normal work and don't need any extra precautions.

Best wishes
