RE: Sexually transmitted diseases
Hi there everyone, I'm hoping to get some information on the following.
What are the different types of std's and what exactly are their symtoms? If you have an discharge what colour would it look like and how will it smell? Can a pap smear detect an std? Also can you go to a pharmacy clinic to get a pap smear done and also maybe get tested for std's?
All help will be very much appreciated, thank you!

Common ones are the following :
Syphilis - often no discharge
Gonorrhoea - smelly yellow discharge
Chlamydia - smelly grey discharge but can be asymptomatic
HIV - no discharge
Pap smears will pcik up some infections, but not all.
Pharmacies do not do pap smears, but clinics do.
Best wishes
