swollen tube
Somebody please help!

I've just done laparascopy last monday (16/02/04) and the doctor says that my only tube (because I had ectopic pregnancy before) is swollen and I have some things (I can't remember if he said it was vains/adhesions or watever they are) that might have been caused by my previous ectopic operation in on the 27/09/2000.

(1) What can I do to reduce the swolleness, to make sure it doesn't happen again and to get rid of those things caused by the previous operation without having to go through another operation as my doctor suggested.

I desperately want to fall pregnant, we've been trying for over a year now. I took clomihexal two times and didn't help that's why I went for laparascopy.

I've read someone's story on this site (almost similar as mine) and something called intergel was mentioned, (2) can you please tell me what is it and if it can also help in my case.

Your help is highly appreciated.

Unfortunately there is nothing you can do. The tube has been damaged and is probably blocked. This means that the egg will not be able to pass through the tubes to meet the sperm. The only way to correct this would be with an operation to unblock it.
Intergel is used to prevent adhesions at the time that an operation is done, not a long time afterwards.

Best wishes
