Twin complication, termination now cyst in womb
Hi everyone
I was pregnant with twins last year december but there were complications as one twin was not that healthy therefore a cord occlusion was done when i was three months pregnant as to terminate one twin.Unfortunately the operation affected the normal twin's sac and i went into labour. My water broke and i started to experience labour pains.Although the labour pains were stopped the water continued to leak from the normal twin's sac resulting in me being hospitalised for 2months as to be monitored.Unfortuantely the water didn't stop from draining resulting in the pregnancy being terminated January 2005.I failed an induction and therefore i had to do a ceasarian to deliver the babies.By then i was five months pregnant,I failed an epidural also therefore an anesthetic was the only option left. After the operation i asked to be shown my little girls, they were so beautiful. As if that was not enough that my babies are no more,i deleveloped a severe fever, diarrhoea and eventually couldn't breath, collapsed and resuscitated. Both my operations started oozing with blood and some yellowish smelly fluid.Stayed in ICU for three weeks while doctors were busy running all the tests on me,Unfortunately they couldn't diagnose me.My parents requested that i be discharged as they could see that i was getting worse,so i went home and got treated there by my family doctor and my mom.I recovered very well although my fiancee for 7yrs left me and moved in with onother woman. Now the problem is that i went to visit a gyne today and he discovered that i have a cyst in my womb which is quite big and a vaginal cyst also.He recomended that i do a laparascopy but am scared to do it due to my past experience.

Can somebody please tell me how painfull is it and how long will it take for me to heal. Are the any chances of me conceiving if i have cyst and will i not experience any complication in terms of giving birth normaly after the operations that i had.

Sorry for this long story but i had to give in a clear picture of my problem.Hope somebody will help me out as i am frustrated.

Thanx a zillion times.

You are right to be concerned. If the cyst is a simple cyst and not too big, perhaps you can have medication to try to shrink it, rather than surgery
