Veet
Can I continue to use Veet on my bikini area etc. while pregnant?

This is the reply from the branch manager of Veet.
While Veet/Immac creams, mousse and wax products are safe to use during pregnancy in terms of chemical composition (i.e. the chemicals are not absorbed into the bloodstream and therefore have no adverse effects to the baby), it is our experience that pregnant women are more likely to suffer bruising when using wax products. This may be as a result of a slightly higher blood pressure and/or a more sluggish blood circulation during pregnancy. It is recommended that pregnant women carry out patch testing every time they use wax products to make allowances for the changes to their body during the various stages of pregnancy.
