Want to fall pregnant
I had my period on the 27th November and again on the 1st January, there is a very big cycle between these 2 dates. I am not usually this late. I was about 11 days late. I did a home test and it was negative. The first 2 days of my period was blood red and now the last 2 days it has been a brownish discharge. Do you think I should do a test. I have been off the pill since May last year. My first child (which was 2 years ago) I was off the pill for 3 months before falling pregnant. Why do you think it is taking so long now? Is there any way to try for a girl?

Pregnancy is unlikely. You probably did not ovulate in this cycle.
It can take up to a year for a normal healthy couple to fall pregnant.
Check the archives under Gender for answers regarding sex of the baby.
