what could it be?
My period is 12 days late. i have taken 2 HPT and they were both negative. i took one 4 days late and the other 2 days ago on 10th day late. My breast are a little sore but not unbearable or swollen. im not experiencing any other preg symptoms. i did have an ovarian cyst last year which caused a later period but that was only late for 10 days. could this be another cyst? will an eptopic pregnancy have given a postive result or do the HPTs not detect that? What is the longest a period can be delayed due to stress or a cyst?

It could be a cyst or stress or perhaps you did not ovulate this month. It is possible to miss a period completely for all of these reasons. An ectopic pregnancy should present with symptoms like pain.
