What is the difference between the coil, safe-t-coil, etc
Hi
Please tell me the difference between the coil, safe-t-coil (or whatever it's called) and the copper-t. I am trying to stay away from birth control which has only progesterone in as I become very dry during intercourse.
Thanks
Yolanda

The coil is a general names for the intrauterine contraceptive device. There are two basic types - hormonal such as the Mirena and non-hormonal such as the copper-t. If you want a non-hormonal device, then something like the copper-t would be best.
