White flakes in nipples - not pregnant / breastfeeding
Hi,
Not sure if anyone can help. My sister was telling me that she has these white flakes IN her nipples that she pulls out. She is wondering what this can be as she is not pregnant (she has just menstruated) and is not breastfeeding?
What can this be? I thought it might be thrush.

It could be overactivity of the milk producing gland or a problem with the breasts themselves. She should see a doctor.
