Headaches and HIV
Is it possible that the headaches are because that person has HIV? Is there a connection between the two.
Dear Surees,
Both headaches and HIV are such complex conditions, affecting many different structures. For this reason certain changes that occur in HIV may possibly trigger off headaches. This doesn't mean, however, that someone living with HIV who also has headaches cannot get relief from the headaches. With the correct examination to determine where the headaches come from, they can often be successfully treated even in the presence of HIV.
