another battle
My friends... I read the postings about medications, diets, exercise and prayer... all the things associated with being HIV+... however, there does not seem to be a lot said about the emotional turmoil of living with HIV? How do you guys do it? For me, some days are easier than others, but other days are hectic. How do you deal with rejection? How do you come forward with your status and deal with the reactions of people who jump to conclusions? How do you stop people from calling you names? How do you stop people from thinking that you are cheap and that you probably got what you deserved? How do you deal with family who make excuses when people ask them about your status... who say that you have cancer instead? How do you deal with people who are scared to eat your food, for fear that you may have cut yourself while cooking? How do you deal with your children who don't really know what is going on? Anti-depressants and psychologists? What can anyone say or do to take away the pain? How do you kneel down and pray to the Almighty and what do you ask for? How do you smile everyday when your heart is aching? I want to know, if you are willing to tell me!

From what I can gather you are very religious. Maybe it is a good start to go and speak to your priest
