HIV TYPES
For the expert and anyone else whoc could help me on this.
Did an antibody and PCR test both negative. Me and my husband continue to display what it seems as HIV related sysmptoms. My husban also tested negative using a rapid test.
I have read too much on HIV and AIDS. I spoke to my pathology and said i'm fine the tests are very sensetive unless I have contracted a sub-type that is from overseas i.e America etc.
How possible is this?
In order to cover all possibilities where does a person go for tests that covers overseas types?
I thopught that the ELISA 1 and 2 was covering everything.
please help.
