After breast cancer
Hi - I have just completed Chemo and radiation for breast cancer - am post-menopausal - my questions are (1)what sort of diet should I be following to prevent cancer especially with regards milk, fat etc - although my cancer apparently was not hormone receptive ? tI have been craving sweets again and find I am binging (2) What supplements to take to build up again and also prevent. I am back to my normal weight which is 63 kg.
Many thanks

1. Best diet in general to follow especially with your history is to have a more alkaline diet. This means more vegetables and fruit less acid, sweets (which you having), less refined foods, less alcohol. Drink 2 litres of purified water. In general for females it is best to decrease or avoid dairy products as much as possible (have feta cheese and low fat yoghurt in general.
2. For sweet cravings eat small frequent meals. Snack on unsalted nuts (no peanuts) or apples if feel like sweets.
Use GTF Chromium (1 tabs twice daily)
3. Use a product that contains Selenium (closests to a foodform not selenium selenite), betasitosterols, and glutamine. Also include omega 3 that is beneficial to over all health.
