Eczema on nipple
I have a dry flakey eczema on my nipple, I've been suffering with it for 2 years. The dermatologist prescribed a very expensive cream, which did control it. I cannot afford this anymore, and also I am 8 months pregant and want to breastfeed. I am also scared that steroids and cortisone with thin out my skin and cause cracked and bleeding nipples. As well as that the baby can't suck on that cream. Are there something natural to treat this, something baby friendly too? Thanks
Use interally flaxseed (1000mg) and salmon oil (1000mg) daily. You can apply externally some of the flaxseed oil or calendula ointment / tincture on the nipple aswell. safe for baby to use. If you have not had a gynae examine the breast I would advise you to do so.
