Flaky Nails
I have recently (about 2 months ago) decided to try and grow my nails. I have always bitten my nails and only managed to grow my nails once (when I got married). In the beginning they were understandably very soft, I bought the Sally Hansen range of products to try and strengthen them, which has worked to a degree, but they are still flaking. They just start looking like I've got nails and they flake and break. What do I do? Is this a "sign" of something lacking in my diet, an underlying medical problem? Please help.

Hi Glenda

The years of biting the nails has damaged the nails itself and will take time to heal. Please use the following three products long term and avoid peeling, biting and breaking the nails.

Thresh Hold MSM, take 2 tabs daily
Urticalcin, suck two tablets 3x daily
Bio-Strath Elixir, a teaspoonful 3x daily

The longer you stay on these products, the stronger your nails will be. Avoid using chemicals or cheap nail polishes. Avoid false nails and gels as they are very bad for the nails.

Kind regards.
