natural HRT
I am 49. I still have my ovaries and uterus. I was on the pill for 23 years then the mirena for the last 4 years. i no longer menstrate and have removed the mirena for personal reasons.
I am in good health and am very fit for my age. I have been told by my doctor that i should go on HRT. I am trying to find out about natural alternatives. Can someone advise.

Hi Pam

Yes we can. Please see the website www.naturalproducts.co.za and view Female Conditions under the page called Health Info. Do also seek the advice of a homeopath or naturopath if you so wish to.

One aspect of Menopause that we must never forget is: It is normal for the estrogen level to decrease because we are no longer child bearing. They say that a women who has gone through menopause naturally feel like bliss on the other side!

Kind regards.
