Slimming cream and Natural Seaweed Powder
I baught this "health" slimming cream product from a lady. The first time i used it i felt a bit stranged but did not think annything of it beacuse she said it was all natural things that was used to make this product. The second time i used it i was feeling verry tyred and my entire boddy was sore and i felt sick for +- 24 hours . The 3 time i used it i nearly fainted and i felt terrible. I phoned this lady and told her what had happend but she just laught at me and said she could not gave me my money back (R2000.00) beacuse it was not the product but that there was something wrong with me. For over a month now i am phoning with no respond. What if this product is not so Healty? And i dont think she is qualified to sell a product that can interfeer with the normal function of the thyroid and that will increase pulse and elevate blood pressure (Fucus Vesiculosus * Bladderwrack). I am not allergic i can eat annyting that comes out of the sea and i am not preagnant and i dont have hyperthyroidism. This is some of the ingredients: Phenoxyethanol , Fucus Vesicalosus , Asco;hyllum Nodisyn , Laminaria Digitata, Hedera Hellix, Lithotamnuim ,Polysorbate 60, seeweed ex...what can i do about this lady and is anny of this herbs harmful?

Dear Shintie

As a consumer you have rights. You can go to the Consumer Advisary Board and report this experience to them and hopefully something can be done about it. This is a typical story of people who believe that there are shortcuts to losing weight. Weight management is attainable only with a proper diet and exercise.

Medicines should be sold and dispensed by professional people, not lay people. Remember this.

Regards.

Estie
