Tonsilitis - What, if anything, can be taken to prevent?
I am 46 and have just recovered from an acute case of tonsilitis. I was very sickl and in so much pain for two weeks. My doctor recommended they be removed as the one had an abcess in it. I don't like idea of having them removed at my age, as it is an extremely painful recovery. If there is anything I can do alternatively to prevent another occurrence, I would really appreciate to hear about.

Hello Dee

Keep the colon clean and the chances of suffering from tonsilitis is so much less. This is the wise words of a homeopath on radio in KZN. The best would be for you to see a homeopath in your area as nothing is better than one on one treatment.

In the interim please start with the following:

Tonsilla from Natura or Tonsilla Comp Ampules from Heel.
Echinaforce from A Vogel
Bio-Strath Elixir
Bioflora

Keep the colon clean or if you do have a problem with constipation it would be a good idea to take a gentle laxative to cleans the colon properly.

Gargle with the following:

1 drop of Thursday Plantation 100% Pure Tea Tree Oil
5 drops of Echinaforce
5 drops of Hypericum Drops from A Vogel

mixed into half a glass of water and gargled three times per day for a minute or two at a time. If you wish to swallow you may.

Kind regards.

Estie
