Sleeping Meds
Hi what is the difference between Adco-Zolpidem and Ambien CR (extended release)? Is Ambien CR really " safer" to use than any other sleeping pill?
The two contains the same active ingredient. Ambien CR differs from Adco-Zolpidem in the way that it realease its active ingredient - AMBIEN CR has two layers that BOTH contains some of the active ingredient. The first layer dissolves quickly to help you fall asleep fast, while the second dissolves slowly to help you stay asleep.
In conclusion, it may let you sleep for longer, but i wont say that it's safer.
