Hi Nick,

My answer to you is both yes and no!

I am assuming you are a person who want / consider to transition from male to female, hence the name you use - I will answer accordingly. (pardon me, if it is the opposit way)

If I say yes, well I guess, medicly anything is possible. If you, say transition from male to female, you will start using Estrogene (the female hormone, prescribed to use), to give you some more feminine fearures. You will remove all possible facial hair, shave your adams apple, have breast implants and a constructed vagina. This is the most basic "list" of prosedures you will need to do, if you decide on them all.

If you then want to change back to male, you will just like a FTM person need to go through all the same steps as they have to. In other words, you will not get all your old fearures back again, you will have to get it surgically.

I suggest to you, to really make sure first exactly how far you want to transition. The only pressure on you, as to what, and how, in wich order and when to do, is the pressure you put on youself.

Once you start experimenting with your gender, nobody, not even a phsycologist, can tell you what is "right" or "wrong" for you and your body. You decide about your body. To explore and come to the decision that you are a trans person, is already a big step to make on it's own. If you decide you don't want to transition all the way - you are not a "less'er" or only half a trans person. Many people, for many reasons choose various stages of the whole journey. No rules!

The whole process is costly, full of stress and decisions, risky and even if you really want it, a "shock" to your body and mind to go through. Don't push yourself to make the next drastic decision if you are not 100% happy to make it!

Good luck with your journey - no rush you decide!

Take care of yourself
Liesl
