For men and women, burning when you pee is usually a symptom of an infection, a urinary tract infection (UTI), or a sexually transmitted infection (STI) that's usually easily treated. Make an appointment to get this checked out, the sooner the better for your own personal health. It needs to be treated soon because if left untreated, it could cause permanent damage. Symptoms may include:

Needing to pee every few minutes
Burning when you try to pee
Needing to pee with hardly anything coming out
Some blood in your pee (pink pee)
Pain just above your pubic bone
Strong odor to your morning's first pee

Make an appointment, or go straight to your health care provider.
