Annoying erections...

Well I already know and have read about too many times about getting erection at anytime. I am 14 now and have had erections in awkward places since i was about 8.

I have learnt to hide them and i am beginning to control them like if I feel one coming on if i use enough willpower i can stop it.

But whats beginning to annoy me now, are things such as when my Girlfriend would sit on my while i'm on a chair or something. I would begin to get an erection I would have to 'bail' and get up.

How is a teenager ...meant to handle these situations. ANd Simple positions such as lying on my stomach whilst watching TV or something I can get one. ?

Hi Bob,

this is something that most young guys can relate to very well. You are developmentally at a point in your life when your are easily aroused physically. This will pass is time, but currently if pressure is put on your penis such as someone sitting on you, or lying on your front on the floor you are likely to get an erection.

So where possible avoid physical pressure. Sometimes thinking of something neutral or about someone you dont fancy can also help get rid of it.

If your girlfriend sits on your lap just reposition yourself so that there is no direct pressure on your penis and this should help.

What is happening is very normal so try not to worry too much
